Mac’s

A new year and a new opening at Lowry Mill, Mac’s, a 2,000 ft2 restaurant and business lounge, opened its doors for the first time today.

A new open plan kitchen and serving area was built in September, this incorporates high quality finishes and compliments perfectly with the restored brick walls and original stone floor. Mac’s is furnished with dining tables and chairs as well as soft furnishings, it has been designed to create an ideal environment for people to take a rest away from their desks or to have informal meetings.

Mac’s opens daily from 0800 to cater for breakfast requirements, lunch is served between noon and 3pm and fresh coffee and snacks are available throughout the day. Services will be provided by catering specialists, Talkington Bates.

Commenting on the new facilities, Vanguard Holdings Property Manager, Mike Lamplough, said “Mac’s is the last piece of the jigsaw within the first phase of the redevelopment of Lowry Mill. We now have over one hundred people working in the building and with various transactions in the pipeline we are confident that this number will double within six months. This is an excellent facility for the Lowry Mill business centre and the positive feedback that we have received already has been terrific”.
