New Future for Salford Mill

1st April 2010

The former Newtown Mill in Swinton, Salford is to be converted into a modern office and call centre facility with space for over 900 people with the help of a grant from the North West Development Agency.

Newtown Mill, which was built in 1883, will provide 125,000 sq ft of modern business space and is part way through a £3million investment project funded by the owner, Vanguard Holdings and the NWDA.

The funding from NWDA of £430,000 will allow Vanguard Holdings to fully convert the building and the company have already started work to secure a tenant.
